Nieuw Nederlands boek over dieselmotoren

ONNEN 29/11 - Target Global Energy Training kondigt een nieuw Nederlandstalig boek 'Dieselmotoren voor de scheepvaart en elektrische centrales' aan. Bij voldoende voorinschrijving verschijnt de uitgave in twee delen op 1 mei 2007.

'Het eerste exemplaar wordt symbolisch in de verkoop gebracht tijdens de viering van het 60-jarig bestaan van de VIV, de Vereniging van Importeurs van Verbrandingsmotoren', meldt uitgever C. Kuiken op de website. Daarop ook een uitgebreide lijst van meewerkende bedrijven, motorfabrikanten en -leveranciers, inclusief alle VIV-leden.De VIV is er zeer nauw bij betrokken. Vele VIV leden leveren hun bijdrage in de vorm van kennis, fotomateriaal en afbeeldingen. Target Global Energy Training is lid van de VIV, de uitgave is een particulier initiatief.

Op vrijdag 11 mei is de eerste proefdruk van het nieuwe dieselmotorenboek voor scheepsvoortstuwing en elektrische centrales overhandigd aan de heer Jan Kamminga, voorzitter van de F.M.E./C.W.M.

Een groot aantal bedrijven heeft reeds het boek aangeschaft en in gebruik genomen.

Hydraulic tools for the connecting rod

Hydraulic tools are used to tighten and loosen the connecting-rod nuts of larger engines. Using hydraulic tools ensures the correct tensioning of the bolted connections in the engine.
